GL40 II Gimbal Motor: Equipped with Drive, Smooth Operation, and Enlarged Hollow

CubeMars / Jan 13,2025

Launched in 2025, the GL40 II gimbal motor features an upgraded hollow drive board, electromagnetic design improvements, and upgraded connectors. With its stable performance and flexible control, this motor is suitable for a wide range of industries and applications, including industrial automation, robotics, and precision control systems. It is designed to meet the needs of various customers, offering efficient and reliable power support.

Upgraded Hollow Drive Board, Supporting Intelligent Control

The GL40 II gimbal motor is equipped with a new hollow drive board, supporting both CAN and PWM communication, enhancing control flexibility and enabling connection to a host computer. Users can easily set current loop parameters and serial baud rates via the host computer, significantly improving debugging efficiency. The motor also supports one-click parameter recognition, simplifying the setup process and quickly adapting to different application needs.

Electromagnetic Design Innovation, Optimizing Low-Speed Stability

The new electromagnetic design reduces cogging torque from 1cN·m to 0.7cN·m, greatly enhancing low-speed stability. This innovation provides higher stability for precise operations and is widely applicable in fields requiring high low-speed accuracy, such as robotics and automation equipment.

Enlarged Hollow Design, Compatible with More Devices

To increase adaptability, the hollow diameter of the GL40 II motor has been expanded from Ø8mm to Ø12.5mm, allowing compatibility with more types of slip rings and devices. Additionally, the overall motor diameter has been reduced from Ø46.5mm to Ø46.1mm, making the motor more compact and better suited for complex mechanical layouts and application demands.

Upgraded Connectors, More Efficient Debugging and Communication

The GL40Ⅱ motor features upgraded connectors that simplify debugging and communication. The black XT30 2+2 connector combines power and CAN signal lines into one, ensuring secure and reliable signal transmission. The white CJT-3pin connector allows for easier connection to the host computer, optimizing the entire process and reducing setup time.

Host Computer Support, Multiple Operating Modes

With host computer support, users can easily configure current loop parameters and serial baud rates. The motor also supports multiple operating modes, allowing users to switch between modes according to their specific needs, meeting the performance requirements of various industries.

The GL40 II gimbal motor, with its stable performance, flexible control, and continually optimized design, is a reliable power solution for industrial automation, robotics, and other fields. We remain committed to providing efficient and precise power solutions for our customers.
